Optometrist Career Opportunity – Billings, MT
Are you looking for an opportunity to share your passion for Eye Health in an efficient, patient-focused environment? At Total EyeCare Billings, our Vision is to make each person feel like the most important person in our business. We are seeking a relationship-oriented professional to join our talented team as a Part-Time (2-3 days per week) Optometrist. This position can be performed onsite or remotely by an optometrist who is licensed in the state of Montana.
The successful candidate will provide expert eye exams using high-quality equipment (including Electronic Medical Records, Telemed, top of the line OCT) to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Our scribing technicians stay with the patient throughout their appointment to make sure that patients are fully prepped to maximize the Optometrist’s time with each patient.
The Optometrist will provide an outstanding customer experience to all patients and venders of Total EyeCare. The successful candidate will examine the eyes and visual system and diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system and prescribe corrective lenses. The Optometrist may also prescribe therapeutic drugs to treat specific eye conditions and direct office staff as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree
- Montana state optometric license
- Optical work experience preferred
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Certified to use therapeutic pharmaceutical agents

Full Scope Private Optometric Practice Opportunity in Helena, Montana
Position: We are looking to fill a full-time, primary eye care position at our medically-based
optometry clinic in the capital city of Montana. Our practice has a full complement of primary eye
care equipment (Cirrus OCT with angiography, Optomap wide-field camera, topography,
Humphrey VF, iCare tonometry, and Marco automated phoropters), and sees between 15-25
patients per day per doctor. This includes routine and medical eye care, contact lens, specialty
contact lens, and surgical co-management. The doctors have a strong working relationship with
the medical community allowing our office to co-manage with our primary and tertiary care
physicians. Helena Vision Center has been in business for over 75 years, and has a well-
established patient base at a brand new, state-of-the art clinic in the heart of downtown.
Location: Helena has in-town access to hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. Camping,
